What we won't do

Why I started whotogiveto
When I was six, I had life-saving heart surgery and my Dad has had a serious lung condition for many years. Both of us have received many years of fantastic care from the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, whom I'm a charity trustee for today.
What's struck me, time and time again, is how hard it is for small, local charities like them to be found. There are so many generous, caring people across the UK, yet most of what they give goes to a tiny fraction of the good causes out there.
I've worked on digital platforms my whole career. whotogiveto brings that know-how together with something I care about deeply: helping lesser-known charities find the right people, and helping those people build lasting, meaningful relationships with the causes they choose.
I set up whotogiveto so the small, local causes without big marketing budgets finally get the chance to be found.
